Introduction: The aim of the current study was to investigate, evaluate and compare Hamadan University of Medical Sciences Libraries With Iran Standards Of Academic Libraries.

Methods: The research communities were libraries of Hamadan University of Medical Sciences’ libraries Included Centeral Library, Schools And Hospitals. This applied study was conducted in 2010-11 academic year and was a survey method. The data were collected using a standard questionnaire and analyzed. The obtained results were compared with the standards of the university libraries of Iran.

Results: The results of this study indicated that none of the libraries corresponded to the standards. At the time of doing this study,most of the libraries had no implementing regulations and statutes legal, managers lacking of library education, and were not suitable software for computerized work library. Libraries of this collection had 8% of required resources, 79% of manpower, 15.04 of space, 16.51 of publications,

the lack of adequate funding and facilities.

Conclusion: According to the results, none of the Libraries Fully Complies With Standards.
