fa راهبردهای سیاستی و مدیریت ریسک مواجهه کودکان و نوجوانان با آرسنیک در آب آشامیدنی سایر Other نامه به سردبیر Letter to Editor <span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="line-height:150%"><span style="direction:rtl"><span style="unicode-bidi:embed"><span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times=""><span b="" lang="AR-SA" nazanin="" style="font-family:">مواجهه با آرسنیک از طریق آب آشامیدنی یکی از مهم‌ترین چالش‌های بهداشت عمومی در بسیاری از کشورهای جهان است. </span><span b="" lang="FA" nazanin="" style="font-family:">اگرچه عوارض مواجهه‌ی مزمن با غلظت‌های پایین آرسنیک معمولاً در بلندمدت بروز می‌کنند، ولی</span><span b="" lang="AR-SA" nazanin="" style="font-family:"> کودکان و نوجوانان به دلیل حساسیت بالای دوره رشد و تکامل، بیش از سایر گروه‌های جمعیتی در معرض پیامدهای زیان‌بار آن قرار دارند. </span><span b="" lang="FA" nazanin="" style="font-family:">شواهد علمی نشان می&shy;دهد که مواجهه با آرسنیک در </span><span b="" lang="AR-SA" nazanin="" style="font-family:">دوران جنینی، کودکی و نوجوانی می&shy;تواند با اختلال در رشد و تکامل، </span><span b="" lang="FA" nazanin="" style="font-family:">افت ضریب هوشی، </span><span b="" lang="AR-SA" nazanin="" style="font-family:">کاهش عملکرد شناختی، اختلال حافظه و یادگیری، </span><span b="" lang="FA" nazanin="" style="font-family:">افزایش فشار خون و ا</span><span b="" lang="AR-SA" nazanin="" style="font-family:">فزایش&nbsp;</span><span b="" lang="FA" nazanin="" style="font-family:">خطر بیماری‌های قلبی-عروقی و </span><span b="" lang="AR-SA" nazanin="" style="font-family:">و برخی سرطان‌ها در سال‌های بعدی زندگی همراه باشد.</span> <span b="" lang="AR-SA" nazanin="" style="font-family:">با توجه به اهمیت حفاظت از این گروه آسیب‌پذیر، ارائه راهبردهای سیاستی مبتنی بر شواهد برای مدیریت ریسک و کاهش مواجهه کودکان و نوجوانان با آرسنیک در آب آشامیدنی ضروری می&shy;باشد. نتایج نشان می‌دهد که اجرای برنامه ایمنی آب، پایش مستمر و نظارت قانونی بر کیفیت آب آشامیدنی، شناسایی و مدیریت منابع آلوده، آموزش و مشارکت فعال ذی‌نفعان، و بهبود وضعیت تغذیه کودکان و نوجوانان، از مؤثرترین راهبردهای کاهش مواجهه با آرسنیک محسوب می‌شوند. در عین حال، شواهد تأکید می‌کنند که مداخلات تغذیه‌ای تنها نقش حمایتی داشته و جایگزین حذف یا کاهش آرسنیک از منابع آب آشامیدنی نیستند</span><span b="" lang="FA" nazanin="" style="font-family:">. </span><span b="" lang="AR-SA" nazanin="" style="font-family:">در مجموع، حفاظت از کودکان و نوجوانان در مواجهه با آرسنیک مستلزم اجرای سیاست‌های جامع، پیشگیرانه و مبتنی بر مدیریت ریسک است. اجرای هماهنگ این راهبردها، گامی مؤثر در کاهش بار بیماری‌های مرتبط با آرسنیک و ارتقای سلامت گروه‌های آسیب‌پذیر به‌ویژه کودکان و نوجوانان خواهد بود.</span></span></span></span></span></span><br> &nbsp; <span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="line-height:150%"><span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times=""><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="line-height:150%">Arsenic exposure through drinking water is one of the most significant public health challenges in many countries worldwide. Although the effects of chronic exposure to low concentrations of arsenic typically manifest over the long term, children and adolescents are more vulnerable to its harmful consequences than other population groups due to their heightened sensitivity during critical periods of growth and development. Scientific evidence indicates that exposure to arsenic during the fetal, childhood, and adolescent stages can be associated with impaired growth and development, decreased IQ, reduced cognitive function, memory and learning deficits, elevated blood pressure, and an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases and certain cancers in later life. Given the importance of protecting this vulnerable group, it is essential to develop policy strategies for risk management and for reducing arsenic exposure in drinking water among children and adolescents. The findings suggest that implementing water safety plans, continuous monitoring and legal supervision of drinking water quality, identification and management of contaminated sources, stakeholder education and active engagement, and improvement of nutritional status in children and adolescents are among the most effective strategies for reducing arsenic exposure. At the same time, evidence emphasizes that nutritional interventions play only a supportive role and are not a substitute for the removal or reduction of arsenic from drinking water sources. In conclusion, protecting children and adolescents from arsenic exposure requires the implementation of comprehensive, preventive, and risk-management-based policies.
