سابقه و هدف: کودکان کم‌شنوا به دلیل موانع ارتباطی و محدودیت‌های تعاملی، اغلب با چالش‌هایی در توسعه عزت نفس و حفظ کیفیت زندگی مواجه می‌شوند. بازی‌های گروهی، با فراهم آوردن فرصت‌هایی برای تعامل و همکاری، به عنوان ابزاری موثر برای مقابله با این چالش‌ها عمل می‌کنند؛ بنابراین، این مطالعه با هدف تعیین تاثیر نقاشی بر اساس بازی بر عزت نفس و کیفیت زندگی کودکان کم‌شنوا انجام شده است.
مواد و روش ها: مطالعه حاضر یک مطالعه نیمه‌تجربی است. ۶۲ کودک ناشنوا از یک مرکز توان‌بخشی وابسته به دانشگاه علوم پزشکی همدان در سال ۱۴۰۲-۱۴۰۳ انتخاب شده، سپس به صورت تصادفی به گروه درمان بازی و گروه کنترل تخصیص یافته‌اند. گروه آزمون در ۶ جلسه به صورت هفتگی، به مدت ۹۰ دقیقه، نقاشی بر اساس بازی را دریافت کرده‌اند. پرسش‌نامه‌های عزت نفس کوپر اسمیت و کیفیت زندگی کودکان قبل و بعد از مداخله (۶ هفته بعد) تکمیل شده‌اند.
یافته‌ها: نتایج نشان داده است در زمان بلافاصله و یک ماه بعد از پایان مداخله، افزایش آماری معناداری در میانگین نمره عزت نفس و کیفیت زندگی و ابعاد آن‌ها در گروه آزمون نسبت به گروه کنترل وجود داشته است (۰/۰۵˂P).
نتیجه‌گیری: مداخله نقاشی بر اساس بازی می‌تواند تاثیرات مثبت و پایداری بر عزت نفس و کیفیت زندگی کودکان کم‌شنوا داشته باشد. ایجاد زمینه‌های لازم برای برگزاری جلسات نقاشی بر اساس بازی در مراکز ویژه کودکان کم‌شنوا ضروری به نظر می‌رسد.
