سابقه و هدف: هدف از مطالعه‌ی حاضر بررسی کاربردپذیری فناوری کمکی در آموزش و درمان کودکان مبتلا به اختلال طیف اوتیسم بود که به‌صورت مروری نظام‌مند انجام شد.
مواد و روش ها: در این مطالعه، با جست‌وجوی کلیدواژه‌هایی از قبیل اختلال طیف اوتیسم، درمان، آموزش و فناوری کمکی در پایگاه‌های اطلاعاتی خارجی، شامل ساینس دایرکت (Science direct)، سیج‌پاپ (SAGE)، پایگاه اطلاع‌رسانی اریک (ERIC)، کتابخانه‌ی آنلاین ویلی (Wiley Online Library)، اسپرینگر (Springer)، مرکز ملی اطلاعات بیوتکنولوژی (پابمد) (Pubmed)، مرکز اطلاعات جهانی پروکوئست (Proquest) و گوگل اسکالر (Google Scholar)، تمام مقالات در بازه‌ی زمانی ۲۰۱۰ تا ۲۰۲۱ بررسی شد. تعداد کل مقالات انگلیسی یافتشده با کلیدواژه‌های ذکرشده، ۲۸۰ بوده است. پس از تنظیم و اعمال معیارهای ورود و خروج، در نهایت، ۱۲ مقاله به‌طور کامل و دقیق مطالعه شد.
یافته‌ها: یافته‌های این پژوهش‌ها نشان داد که فناوری کمکی در آموزش و درمان کودکان طیف اوتیسم اثربخش است و می‌توان از این فناوری به‌عنوان ابزاری کمکی در آموزش و درمان این کودکان استفاده کرد.
نتیجه‌گیری: بر اساس نتایج مطالعه‌ی حاضر، پیشنهاد می‌شود که از فناوری‌های نوین به‌عنوان ابزاری کمک‌آموزشی، در محیط‌های درمانی و آموزشی، برای مبتلایان به طیف اوتیسم استفاده شود.
