سابقه و هدف: تکوالد بودن می‌تواند زمینه برخی از اختلال‌های رفتاری شده و بر سیر و پیش‌آگهی کودکان این خانواده‌ها اثر بگذارد؛ بنابراین، بررسی مشکلات رفتاری در کودکان این خانواده‌ها دارای اهمیت است. این پژوهش با هدف بررسی مقایسه‌های مشکلات رفتاری کودکان خانواده‌های تک‌والدی و دو والدی انجام شده است.
مواد و روش ها: روش انجام پژوهش پس‌رویداد بوده است، جامعه آماری این پژوهش کودکان ۷ تا ۱۲ ساله شهرستان فراهان است و نمونه این پژوهش ۶۰ نفر از کودکان شامل ۳۰ کودک تکوالد و ۳۰ کودک دو والد است. نمونه‌گیری این پژوهش به صورت تصادفی انجام شده و با استفاده از پرسش‌نامه راتر ارزیابی شده‌اند.
یافته‌ها: نتایج پژوهش نشان می‌دهدکه کودکان تکوالد در خرده‌مقیاس کمبود توجه با کودکان دارای دو والد تفاوت معناداری دارند. به گونه‌ای که نوجوانان دارای وضعیت تک‌والدی نمره بیشتری در کمبود توجه کسب کرده‌اند.
نتیجه‌گیری: کودکانی که دارای یک والد هستند به دلایلی به آن‌ها کم توجهی می‌شود که نشانگر آثار سوء نبود یکی از والدین است.
