سابقه و هدف: میگرن، یک بیماری مزمن و شایع‌ترین نوع سر درد ناتوان‌کننده در کودکان است. هدف مطالعه‌ی حاضر، تعیین ارتباط خودمدیریتی با شدت سر درد، کیفیت زندگی و فعالیت جسمانی کودکان مبتلا به میگرن بود.
مواد و روش‌‌ها: در این بررسی مقطعی،۲۰۰ کودک مبتلا به میگرن مزمن مراجعه‌کننده به درمانگاه بیمارستان بعثت و کلینیک امام خمینی شهر همدان در سال‌های ۱۳۹۸-۱۴۰۰ مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. ابزارهای پژوهش پرسش‌نامه‌های اطلاعات جمعیت‌شناختی، مراحل دگرگونی درد، بررسی تأثیر سر درد، کیفیت زندگی Kindle و فعالیت جسمانی بود. آزمون آنالیز واریانس و همبستگی Pearson جهت تحلیل داده‌ها استفاده شد. سطح معنی‌داری (۰/۰۵ > P) بود.
یافته‌ها: آزمون آنالیز واریانس یک‌طرفه نشان داد که بین میانگین نمرات خودمدیریتی سر درد و طول مدت حملات میگرن بر حسب شدت سر درد، اختلاف معنیدار آماری وجود ندارد. بین نمره‌ی شدت سر درد با کیفیت زندگی و تعداد علائم سر درد میگرنی ارتباط مستقیم و معنی‌دار (۰/۰۵ > P) و با تعداد حملات میگرن در ماه ارتباط معکوس و معنی‌داری (۰/۰۱ > P) وجود داشت. بین میانگین تعداد حملات میگرن در ماه و شدت سر درد، اختلاف معنی‌دار آماری وجود داشت (۰/۰۱ > P).
نتیجه‌گیری: خودمدیریتی با شدت سر درد، کیفیت زندگی و فعالیت جسمانی ارتباطی نداشت اما، سر درد شدید موجب کاهش کیفیت زندگی و کاهش تعداد علائم و افزایش تعداد حملات میگرن در ماه شد.
