Background and Objective: Financial corruption has a negative impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of employees, in the administrative system of government organizations. Therefore, the present study aimed to determine the relationship between organizational justice and organizational trust with financial corruption between the employees in Valiasr Hospital of Tuyserkan city.
Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study was carried out on 140 employees of Valiasr Hospital in Tuyserkan city during the first six months of 2017. In this study, to assess the relationship between variables, three independent questionnaires were used. Descriptive statistics including frequencies, percentages, means and standard deviations, along with tables and charts and inferential statistics including Pearson correlation coefficient were used to examine the relationship between variables.
Results: Regarding the viewpoint of hospital personnel about the variables of study, the score of financial corruption was 2.89 out of 4. The mean score of organizational trust and organizational justice were 2.375 and 1.2 respectively. There was a direct and significant correlation between organizational justice and reduce of financial corruption (r = 0.224, P = 0.014), and there was a direct and significant correlation between organizational justice and organizational trust (r = 0.376, P = 0 <0.001).
Conclusion: According to the results of this study, organizational justice has a significant relationship with organizational trust and prevention of corruption in medical centers. Therefore, it is imperative that managers and officials of hospitals and medical centers try to establish organizational justice and organizational trust and thus prevent corruption.
